I chose this assignment because it was a different way to present information and let me focus on a topic I care about. I wanted to talk about gun violence and show my classmates why it matters and the impact it has on people. I liked being able to use images to tell the story, but the format was a little challenging at first since I couldn’t rely on a lot of text or explanation on the slides. It made me think more about what actually mattered and how to say things in a simple way. Overall, it helped me feel more comfortable presenting and showed me how important it is to find ways to keep people engaged when talking about serious topics.
